“The revelation of my passion for music came to me as a child, when I played in my village band.
My 18 year experience, during which I combined parallel careers in conducting, teaching and performing as an orchestral musician, has been rich and varied, and through it I have been able to expand my aptitudes to cover the full spectrum of those I wished to master.
Thanks to my excellent knowledge of orchestras, I am instantly able to capture the nature and needs of each one, enabling me to go straight to what is essential in assessing how best to use rehearsal time for optimum results.
I can’t resist the pleasure rising to a challenge, and enjoy using my resources and skills in the most complex and demanding situations.
I am intuitive and lively, and have often been described as charismatic.
My vision of a concert is that it can’t exist without the magic or the emotion which I am fortunate enough to elicit during performances.
I have experienced no greater pleasure than being able to transmit the beauty and richness of music and witnessing the emotional response of my audiences.
My responsibility towards music, however, is not limited to musicians or particular audiences, it transcends everything, including class barriers. What means so much too me, should be accessible to all and I am determined to do everything I can so that it is.
I wish to dedicate the rest of my life to my work and career as a conductor and pedagogue.”
